The CURT 17063 Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Integrated Lubrication is designed to deliver stable, level towing and a noticeably smoother ride for travel trailers, pop-up campers, and other heavy RV loads. By redistributing tongue weight across the tow vehicle and trailer, it helps restore front-axle control, improves braking response, and reduces stress during acceleration, crosswinds, and uneven road surfaces.

This model stands out with its built-in lubrication system—a feature not found on many traditional WDHs. Two easy-access grease zerk fittings in the hitch head continuously lubricate the spring bar sockets, reducing wear and cutting down on noise for a quieter towing experience. The 31-3/16” forged steel spring bars offer reliable strength, while the heavy-duty fabricated head provides a durable connection that can accommodate 10,000–14,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 1,000–1,400 lbs tongue weight.

Setup is simple thanks to the included 2” adjustable shank, pre-torqued 2-5/16” trailer ball, and chain-style snap-up brackets. A sway control bar is also included to help reduce trailer movement during wind gusts, downhill grades, and passing vehicles. Finished in a carbide black powder coat, the entire hitch is protected against rust, road grime, and the elements to ensure long-term durability.
