The Bellacorp Tire Pressure Monitoring System is an Onboard, Real Time, Full Time tire safety assistant. Everyone knows that tires should be properly inflated and checked regularly. But drivers get in a hurry, or it is cold, or it is raining and tire pressures go unchecked. This creates a small opportunity for tire failure to occur. The Bellacorp system is meant to stay on at all times while on the road. It sleeps at night and wakes with movement to give you fresh tire pressures for ALL of your tires at a glance. All after market TPMS systems share two potential pitfalls (There are only four after market TPMS manufacturers in the world). The first is radio signal integrity between the tire sensors and the monitor. The FCC mandates that this type of product use 433.92 MHz radio frequency. (Blue tooth frequency sensors share this same pitfall, by the way). Many other similar products use the frequency as well: backup cameras, weather stations, and security cameras to name a few. The pitfall occurs because ALL tire sensors are powered by very small camera batteries and are therefore vulnerable to radio signal interference. Small wattage means small radio signal strength. Radio interference causes the system to act erratic on occasion. A repeater (or amplifier) is the cure for this pitfall because it uses 12 volt power. That is why we are currently converting our inventory to include a repeater. We have also made repeaters available for purchase if the kit does not currently come with a repeater. Installing the repeater requires wiring it to a 12 volt power source. We regret this extra step in installation, but it is worth it. A repeater creates 99% signal integrity and insures that pressure and temperature reading are consistently updated.

The second potential pitfall is damaged, weak, and improperly installed tire stems. Our sensors weight .7 ounces. This weight can put strain on faulty tire stems. Please use good judgment when it comes to your tire stems. Inner dually stems must be attached to the wheel. The tire stem MUST NOT wobble. If it does, either install stronger tire stems or discontinue the use of our sensors.
